What you sayNo-one has reviewed Marmalade Fires by Mum yet. What we say
Mum: 'Marmalade Fires' (Fat Cat) I know these crazy northern Europeans are famous for their song titles but this one certainly takes the proverbial biscuit. What do they mean? I know marmalade and fire have the same colour but to imply there's a fire of breakfast spread is just ridiculous, even if you're from Iceland. The tune is a burbling tinkling affair made up of an oscillating bassline, the omnipresent strings and a choral type backing. Another seasonal release. What the label says:The second mum single from the album ‘Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy’, coinciding with the band’s first UK tour for three years. |
