Eedl - Everse

Everse by Eedl

discovered by spa.rk four years ago at the launch night for fibla’s ‘lent’ album, barcelona eedl duo have proved to be an uncommon find in the spanish electronic scene : not only are their musical references well beyond what closely surrounds them, but their production skills are also far in advance of many better-known low frequency experimentalists and electronic dilettantes. their first record, the vinyl-only ‘parallemped’ ep,  confirmed as much, and it wasn’t a coincidence that widespread international interest came their way via remix and production requests from the likes of funckarma, metatronix, and holland’s on label. eedl have worked hard to now present an album of rare and amazing electronica that has a clarity of aim and construction, yet with much beauty in the details. miguel and joan continually research their music, with an almost obsessive devotion to production and sound refinement, informed as much by the heart as the head, and the result is the magnificent ‘everse’, a collection of tracks that comprises exquisite electronic music, unyielding melodies, non-conformist electro and dissonant noise harmonics, where nothing is superfluous and everything fits perfectly. a combination of two voices that complement each other, creating music of multiple uses, and a music that will rapidly install itself on your mental hard disc.
