Debut USA release from the Southend pop bashers comes perversely complete with two remixes by Jason Nevins and one by Crystal Castles. Nevins’ six-minute extended mix is a typical crash-thump friday night union bar pint-spiller, replete with spinbacks, stabs, and dropouts designed for plenty of shouty crowd mayhem. The shorter remix does pretty much the same thing in half the time for the attention-defecit room. Crystal Castles come at the track from a more oblique angle and manage to somehow locate a degree of pulsing subtlety in this most long-ball of route-one rabble-rousers. Also includes original LP version, instrumental and, alarmingly, acapella.
