Double CD in stone box - limited edition of 1000 copies. NERUS, in association with Soleilmoon Recordings, announces the 20th Anniversary commemorative release of Death In Junes Brown Book. Considered by some to be one of the most influential albums of all time, standing centrestage with works by The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan and Joy Divison, controversial is too trite a word to use in describing Death In Junes 1987 opus Brown Book. This digitally remastered edition is presented in a round hand-carved stone box with a Totenkopf 6 carved on the lid. The box contains not only a CD of the original album but an extra 14 track CD featuring seven rarely heard, long deleted alternate versions of the title track and other remixes/recordings from the period and since. It is in effect Brown Book II. Four exclusive sew-on Death In June/Runic cloth patches, photos and information cardsone of which includes for the first time an English translation of the original German soliloquy featured on the title trackround out this beautiful release. It is truly the backbone of the Death In June catalogue.
