More 7"'s. Yes the rollercoaster of 7"'s just keeps going and going.... Here's Sister with their debut 7" on Regal. Trivia fans would be pleased with the knowledge that Maggie's brother plays in this band.... yes they're a very musical family. This has a real Velvet Underground feel to it which probably explains the whole Sister thing. For some reason I'm reminded of Lucky Soul as well at times though it doesn't really sound like 'em. Decent tune anyway! 'Satellite' is 7" only!

Formed two years ago in East London, SISTER honed their intense, stripped down rock and roll in a squatted disused warehouse in East London, home to an artist’s collective and a graveyard for old industrial machines (and where the ‘Satellite’ video was filmed). There they created a sound that is by turns, beautiful and explosive.

In Gemma Banks SISTER have a potentially iconic frontwoman. Along with her distinctive voice she has powerful charisma and unique style, a style that has already been noticed by the fashion cognoscenti – SISTER recently played at the London Fashion Week show of uber-hip label Luella.
