Here's a split 7" by Owen and The City On Film on Redcardgofaster from Italy. This comes in a kool (sic) koala style sleeve and there has been some controversy about it on the site (go to the item page and see for yourselves). Owen make some nice Americana singer songwriter gear which might appeal to fans of Mark Kozelek etc The flipside is not a million miles away from the A side though it is more upbeat and jaunty. Jaunty is my ridiculous word of the day. Seriously though...is there a more rubbish word that jaunty?
Track list:
1. Good friends, bad habits (Owen)
2. Top shelf (Father's funeral) (Owen)
3. Aurora Galore (The city on film)
4. Fahrenheit 451 (The city on film)

it's no fake, they used the design also for the tour-poster. also bob nanna is part of threadless and the person on the right (with the keyboard). so i would say they bought the design....according to charlie..
the artwork was done by Ross Zietz, a guy who works at Threadless together with Bob Nanna and takes care of some tshirt's design. Bob asked him if he wanted to think about an artwork for the record, and he came up with the koala; both Mike and Bob, along with me, were definitely happy about that, it came also on the European poster in different colours. I didn't know that it came up on a tshirt until it was printed, but i really don't care that much....according to weisheng lin.
is the cover a ripoff? http://www.threadless.com/product/863/Phascolarctos_Cinereus
