It’s been quite a year for London boy Jack Peñate – two sold out UK tours, triumphant festival slots at Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds as well as selling out the Astoria, a Top 10 single in the shape of ‘Torn On The Platform’ and, to top it all, his debut album smashing in to the UK charts at number 7.Now comes the third single from said debut album ‘Matinée’ in the form of ‘Have I Been A Fool’ - undoubtedly one of the catchiest moments from his thrilling album.    With it’s gorgeous, twinkling piano backdrop, ‘Have I Been A Fool’ is another instant singalong classic - a trait fast becoming a Jack Peñate staple.   The single also comes backed with a cover of the Sam Cooke classic ‘You Send Me’ and a brand new Jack song ‘If I’d Known’.  Jack will round off the year with a special show on 20th November at the Union Chapel in London where he plays with Babyshambles and Laura Marling as part of The Little Noise sessions in aid of Mencap.  ·Available on CD single and two vinyl 7”s – one with a ‘barn door’ sleeve and one is a picture disc.
