Translations: 'Daydreams & Memories' (Octoberman) Mega limited to a mere 40 copies, this 8 track opus is so dreamy it's almost making me fall asleep at this keyboard. It's not that I really need the sleep it's just the opiated, dreamlike qualities of the lazy strum, padded synth washes and strung out humming choruses have a sleep inducing effect. Nearest comparisons are something akin to a shoegazing, ambient/electronic cross pollination that could easily sit on your shelf between Skam's Bola and maybe a male version of the Cocteau's.

Laid back, hazy songs by Christian McClain. Excellent stuff. It comes on a printed cdr designed and made by Cheju , together with a glossy photograph supplied by Translations .
