Sister Rose is the second single to be taken from Ian Brown’s fifth, and best solo album The World Is Yours. Specially remixed from the version that features on the album by Steve Fitzmaurice, the track has been a set-storming highlight of Ian’s current tour, sitting proudly alongside classics such as F.E.A.R., My Star, and Keep What Ya Got. Sister Rose features ex-Sex Pistols Steve Jones and Paul Cook on guitar and drums respectively, with the CD format featuring an exclusive Pharoahe Monch vocal version of the track. The 7” Picture Disc format includes Ian’s Japanese vocal version – recorded after Ian phonetically mimicked a translation of the track – needs to be heard to be believed, and exclusive new artwork.
