Temperatures: S/T (Heat Retention) This 7" comes housed in what looks like sleeve burnt by the rings of an electric cooker ring and and glitter scattered snowflake design. Both designs reflect the hot and cold nature of the tracks on the corresponding sides. So, poker hot screech, feedback shuffling jazz-like drums that build to a rumble with added bass. The flip as you'd imagine is a little chilly chill with trickling guitars, tumbling tingles. As freeform as it gets, this is the sound of freedom of minds in action.Hand numbered limited edition if you please...Wonderful homebrew sounds here that are set to brutalize your ears in every conceivable fashion. Luscious, glittery printing on one side of the cover with a home-burnt cooker ring branding on the other make this look great even before you get to thje record itself. Put the needle on and you're greeted by an unholy noise of screeching guitars, mad drums and the kind of sound-mongering that put this firmly in the Lightning Bolt camp. It has it's own feel though and once you organise the chaos in your head the true sound really starts to come out at you. Repeated listening is definitely recommended to get the best out of this ultra-limited little gem. Class. (Smallfish records)
