More indie.... Good Shoes have a new single out called 'Smalltown Girl'. I was thinking this would be some sort of hilarious take on the Bronski Beat classic but alas it ain't. It's a decent bouncy indie rock tune which bounces along slightly spikily and has a very simple timeless feel to it. Possibly because of the Stephen Street production? It's unfussy and uncomplicated indie rock. What the label says:Long awaited single release of ‘Small Town Girl’. Taken from the brilliant debut album ‘Think Before You Speak’. |
