Glasgow's Shitdisco are apparently party animals that used to do a load of crazy free parties and stuff. They've been lumped in to the New Rave scene which does make me cringe a little. They recently signed to Sony Music in Japan which makes sense when I hear new single 'I Know Kung Fu'. Not wanting to stereotype Japanese people but I can just imagine them going crazy for this over there. It's energetic, catchy good times music that sounds like a bunch of lads having a wail of a time making it. Again not my bag but good on them. The 12" features a remix by Radioclit which is quite possibly one of the most horrible artist names I've ever heard.LIMITED EDITION 7”

** 'I KNOW KUNG-FU' HAS BECOME THE BAND'S SPIRITUAL THEME TUNE THROUGHOUT THEIR CAREER, WITH AN EARLY BERSERK-IN-PROGRESS VERSION APPEARING ON THE FLIP OF LIMITED DEBUT RELEASE 'DISCO BLOOD' IN 2005 AND A MORE REFINED RECORDING MAKING ITS WAY ONTO THE NATTILY ACCLAIMED 'KINGDOM OF FEAR' ALBUM, RELEASED IN APRIL 2007. THIS SINGULAR VERSION COMES BACKED BY A VERITABLE STACK OF MIXES, INCLUDING A GANDER-TASTIC SHAKEDOWN BY GOOD FRIENDS AND SONIC ALLIES GOOSE.
