This debut Diebold albums sounds cool. Diebold are Sophie Trudeau (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Silver Mt. Zion) and Ian Ilavsky (Sofa, Silver Mt. Zion). This is repetitive distorted riff and chugging distortion galore. A right old load of twanging here with a filthy dirty garage blues rock thing happening. It's like shellac playing in a big pool of mud and eating mud pies while listening to Muddy Waters in muddsvile during a mudslide. CD and LP on Bangor is lovely printed sleeves. A solid rock album.... Me likes.Listen To My Heartbeast is the official debut recording from Diebold.

Some of these songs were previously available on a long since lost, extremely limited CDr back in 2005.
