Fancy a spot of ear shredding? Then look no further than the new Merzbow CD fresh in from the Ukraine this morning. Comes in a lovely animal friendly digipack with a picture of a bird on the cover. It's your usual extreme noise and chaos from the Japanese noisemeister. I always think Merzbow is about as harsh as it gets really so if you like it hard and extreme then this terrifying piece of noise is for you. Peace For Animals is CD only on QuasipopThis is the first record by absolute noise hero Masami Akita for Ukrainain label Quasi Pop. "Peace For Animals" presents 3 long pieces of ice-breaking analogue feedbacks over dense overdrive textures, some beasty, pulsing rhythmic elements on the background and rollercoaster's LFO spazmes of analogue synth. Bright example of modern "post-analogue-post-laptop era" sound of Merzbow.These compositions are wild at heart as the wild nature is, but they're certainly could be friendly to whom who wants to be friendly to beasts.
