The Runners - All Over Again

All Over Again by The Runners

3...according to our on Thu 29 Nov, 2007.

I got yet another 7" here on Weekender from The Runners who belt out an upbeat indie rocker. 'All Over Again' is pretty straightforward accessible gear that sounds like it was made by young men who have a positive outlook on life, full of energy vigour and spunk. This doesn't stand out as being particularly great, just another record by a slew of bands that do a similar thing but do it well. The B-side is about having fun. Give them another 5 years and they'll be more jaded and talk about horrible things. Not like spiders but your missing leaving you and that.

This is the bands 2nd single release. A 4 piece from Hertfordshire they have toured heavily this year including several dates at British Music Week across Germany. They won the Red Stripe unsigned battle of the bands awards this year and have played at festivals including Lovebox Weekender.
