Eight Legs - These Grey Days

These Grey Days by Eight Legs

3...according to our on Thu 01 Nov, 2007.

Eight Legs on Weekender have a 7"/CDs out called These Grey Days and it's more of that chirpy handy sounding indie. The Guitars sound like early Orange Juice... it's got a very classic indie sound....I've heard so much of this stuff lately I have no idea what else I could possibly say about it.

Eight Legs are an all male 4 piece (hence the name) still in or barely out of their teens now based in London. This is the penultimate release before the band release their debut album, Searching For The Simple Life, set for Feb 08.
This is their 3rd single with Weekender and they were 2006’s Christian Dior band (the previous 3 were Beck, Razorlight and The Rakes) which included touring Brazil early 07. They have built up a good following through heavy touring including a German tour with The Pigeon Detectives in September 07.
The album was released in Japan in Sept 07 on Kurofone/Handcuts initially shipping in excess of 2,500 copies, they will tour there in November/December.
Produced by John Fortis (Razorlight) on the a side and Brian O’Shaughnessy on the b side (Primal Scream) the tracks are the rare combination of youthful energy and mature wordplay.
