Christ: 'Bike' (Benbecula) Five track CD from the Minerals series makes a quite obvious joke, which is good as there's so much electronica out there that takes itself way too seriously. As to be expected from the former Boards Of Canada member this is acollection of heavily percussive beats, wide open space FX, incidental spoken word passages over the kind of blueprint sounds that made highly melodic electronica of this nature so very popular in the first place. Recommended for fans of all things introspective and digital, in and outside the bedroom. (Sounds more like Boards of Canada than the last Boards Of Canada album! - Phil)

Limited edition (500) CD in Benbecula's 'Minerals Series' with beautiful bespoke packaging and inserts. Christ. returns after his well received second long player "Blue Shift Emissions" with an EP of 5 brand new tracks, advancing further into the electro / beat orientated arena with some expertly blended compositions. As a 'Minerals Series' release, Christ. was given the nod to do just about anything he wanted, no pressure. Thus the result is an entirely personal and sometimes experimental take on his unique style, whilst maintaining a great sense of freedom and just plain good fun.
