Slow Club: 'Me and You' (Moshi Moshi) Simplistic male/female vocal combination, guitar strum-a-long with distant handclaps. It's a kind of joyous romp through a country/folk/barndance hybrid. It's over before there's time to learn the dance. Since releasing their debut 7” on Moshi Moshi Singles earlier this year Slow Club’s sound has gotten a little more meat on its bones. Testament to a rigorous touring/festival schedule over the summer months. The new single adds layers to the drums/guitar/girl/boy/vox (teenage, northern White Stripes, anyone?) at the core of their sound.
