Nine Black Alps - Love/ Hate

Love/ Hate by Nine Black Alps

Eighteen months ago Nine Black Alps packed their bags after nearly 2 solid years of touring their excellent debut album... ‘Everything Is,’ said goodbye to another cold, wet winter in Manchester and retreated to the warm sanctuary of a Los Angeles studio. With a hat full of catchy guitar riffs and a working title, that seemingly no one could agree on, the band began to work on recording their second album, under the stewardship of David Sardy (Oasis, Wolfmother).

Wealthier for the experience, Nine Black Alps have emerged from the studio with a tantalising batch of new songs raising the bar of expectations, with a record that surely signifies their coming of age. Not bereft of their signature riffage, the new songs have a new found maturity which marks them out on a par with any of their contemporaries.

Nine Black Alps will be undertaking a tour of Universities throughout October prior to which they kick it all off with a home town show in Manchester. The band have also just confirmed shows with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Biffy Clyro in November, see below for dates.

The UK version of the album also has a bonus track ‘Happiness And Satisfaction’

1.             Bitter End
2.             Burn Faster
3.             Everytime I Turn
4.             Pet Hate
5.             Painless
6.             Future Wife
7.             Heavier Than Water
8.             Happiness & Satisfaction
9.             So In Love
10.             Forget My Name
11.             Under The Sun
