On this album The Things play tunes by Ornette Coleman, Swedish jazz legend Lars Gullin, Japanese jazz master Yosuke Yamashita, drum/bass noise act Lightning Bolt, Norwegian friends and garage rockers Cato Salsa Experience as well as 2 pieces by The Thing, one by Mats Gustafsson and one by Gustafsson`s 13 year old daughter Alva Melin. The album is recorded analogue, with only acoustic instruments. This is the sheer power of wood, metal, breath and muscle. This is pure action jazz!
