Phil here with some reviews for ya. Tunng are back with a new single called Bullets. 'Bullets' is one of my favourite moments from their recent pop opus (popus). Sweet sounding folk inflected pop music with some dark lyrics about catching bullets with our heads. I prefer to use my hands to catch things. A great great little pop tune. For some reason it includes an absolutely awful Max Tundra remix which simply has to be heard to be believed. On 7" and CD! What the label says: Second single to be taken from Tunng’s critically-acclaimed new album. Features an exclusive remix from wunderkind producer Max Tundra.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
