 This record left our Ant feeling ecstatic.
Following the Planet Mu 200 comp, the label compile 14 tracks of their dubstep emmissions from the last year or so. The '10 Tons Heavy' comp begins in style with Pinch's brilliant Qawwali. Probably his finest moment. Then onto Distance's techy slow jam 'Night Vision'. Vex'd up next take the heaviness to new level with 'Fire'. Milanes's 'Double Face' has a female vocal that infectiously works its way into your subconciouss. With more cuts from MRK1, Boxcutter, Benga, Loefah etc you can expect some serious future bass action.A great document for any CD buyer to catch up on many previously vinyl only tracks. Cheap double CD.

’Heavy’ is a word overused in describing Dubstep releases, but compilations such as this are few and far between. Weighing more than 2 double decker buses, ’10 Tons Heavy’ is the sound.
