The Sunset Rubdown have a new album out and I thought we'd write a bit about it in the tiny amount of time we have to do these things.... Random Spirit Lover is out on CD and LP. Thanks Jagjaguwar. This is some chap from Wolf Parade who have a bit of an Arcade Fire fixation and you can hear it here as well. Maybe it's unfair to tar 'em with that brush but there are a lot of similarities. It's more like the early Arcade Fire work than anything else. It's good ole American quirky college rock and well worth checking out. It's kind of grand in its architecture but it doesn't overload you with pomposity. I can't believe I said that! Maybe there's some hints of earlier Bright eyes in there too??We calculate your shipping costs by taking the heaviest item in your order and calculating that at the 'Heaviest Item' price.
