In the vein of the free-soul-fire-ancestors but with their very own sweat, guts & balls added, this music is timeless. We could have printed "recorded 1967" or "recorded 2215", makes no difference. In 100 years time, this stuff still sounds vital & relevant. The future will be what the past is NOW.

The sound of brass knuckles, Steel Sleet is as pure as Snowy is White, as real as the cracks in the sidewalk, as hard as nails in the coffin. But it's also as beautiful as a freezing winter afternoon.

And after all, this record is a labour of LOVE.
