Puerto Muerto are an unusual band to sum up. I kind of like what I've heard by them. This is a sort of warped country blues clap along with some nice twanging here and there which will make you dance like a goon and get wankered on moonshine. Cool!FROM LAST YEARS ACCLAIMED ‘LOST’ SOUNDTRACK TO THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (WHICH THEY PERFORMED LATE LAST YEAR AT THE BARBICAN) , AND IN ANTICIPATION OF THE FOLLOW UP DOUBLE LP HEAVEN & DIRT COMING OUT OCTOBER 15TH, COMES WHAT HAVE I DONE? A CAMPFIRE REDEMPTION SONG? POSSIBLY, BUT THINGS PICK UP TO BECOME MORE RESOLUTE ROCK AND ROLL CELEBRATION, ESPECIALLY ON THE REMIXED-ON-CAFFEINE B SIDE BY JOHN BARNES.
