The New Pornographers: 'Myriad Harbour' 7" (Matador) With a sleeve that depicts a naked woman about to dash a rock on some poor astronauts head, he meanwhile, offers a pair of red shoes and some sliky knickers. On first listen the graphic doesn't tally with the song, on a second listen it reminds me of a less messy, grungy version of the Breeders. Polished, kinda Pixie-esque American college rock.The single is the first to be taken from the band’s new album, ‘Challengers’, which is out now.
