The Pearlfishers - The Umbrellas Of Shibuya

The Umbrellas Of Shibuya by The Pearlfishers

The Pearlfishers proudly announce the release of the 7" single ‘The Umbrellas Of Shibuya’, taken from their new album ‘Up With The Larks’.
The 7" is strictly limited to 500 and available on white vinyl.
The Umbrellas Of Shibuya takes its reference point from Michel Legrand’s classic movie opera The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg but locates itself in a Tokyo rainstorm with neon puddles, painted in Morricone banjos, Sakamoto synth blooms,Nilsson mouth music and, most tellingly, Pearlfisher David Scott’s truly unique sense of melody and structure.
The b-side features the exclusive new track Clumsy.
