Here's a couple of 12"'s on Death$ucker. Electromeca have a 12" called Brutal Funk EP. I played this at 45rpm and everyone said it should be 33rpm. Fuck that. It sounds better at 45rpm.... At 45rpm it's some brutal splintered breakcore beats which will have you spazzing all over the shop like a big goon. At 33rpm it reminds me of a much cut up Modeselektor or something. Sounds way better at 45rpm though...It's cool. This music makes me laugh and smile for some reason!Since he discovered that FM-radio could sound way much better through his SP202, Electromeca didn't stop to cut-crush-distort-chop-chew-spit-reconstruct fat & dirty beats with a delicious guilty pleasure. That's it: James Brown driving a bulldozer through a wrecking yard, hectic B-Boys breakdancing in a puddle of motor oil, The Bomb Squad meets Russolo in a Z-movie disco-club, FM-radio harshbeats, dismantled stuttering beat-box, muddy boom-bap... Basically:
hard & heavily damaged club music!
A1. Brutal Funk
A2. 202
B1. Competition
B2. Damaged Club Music
