OVERVIEW: From visionary music video director and photographer, Anton Corbijn, comes CONTROL, the must-see love story of Ian and Deborah Curtis.Electric new talent, Sam Riley brings Joy Division's tortured front man, Ian Curtis to the screen and Samantha Morton (Morvern Callar, Minority Report) plays his loyal but tormented wife, Deborah.CONTROL is Corbijn's feature film debut after decades of collaborating with some of the world's top bands including U2, REM, Nirvana, Depeche Mode, Metallica, The Killers and Coldplay. A friend and contemporary of Joy Division in the late Seventies, Corbijn is responsible for some of their most iconic photographs. In 1988 he directed a video for the band's 'Atmosphere' as a requiem to Ian.
