The Alones herald from Stoke, Having toured with The Enemy and The Twang, their sound is indie music operating outside of the tight trousered fashions of the moment. With shades of early Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cult and Jesus and Mary Chain reverberating through them The Alones songs,  are well heeled, resplendent with soaring melodies and huge life affirming choruses. The release is the first record on AM = AK records, The weekly Thursday night at Proud Galleries which has brought some of the most intimate performances from Dizzee Rascal, The Enemy, Cold War Kids, Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, The Courteeners, Hadouken!, Calvin Harris, Chromeo, Yo Majesty, Does It Offend You Yeah!, Gallows and Jack Penate.. Has decided it’s time to give recorded life to some of the great new bands that pass through their doors.
