Oh No Ono starts sounding like Madness played at half speed and then transforms into a... oh shit wait I've got it on the wrong speed like a total baffoon. It still sounds a bit too fast at 45 with the high pitched vocals. Its another 80's disco pop sounding thing. A bit quirky and all. Am lost for words with this one. 7" on Yodel.First two singles from hot buzz band OH NO ONO sold out quickly and this limited 7" follow-up will do so too!! OH NO ONO is a wonderful Danish band who take in the falsetto of the Scissor Sisters and marr it with the harmonies of the Beach Boys and the pop charm of 80s Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Their musical backgrounds span from classical, country, rock and punk. Hard pumping grooves mixed with catchy guitar riffs and charming melodies makes an irresistible cocktail that sounds like the Strokes on helium. For fans of: Madness, Beach Boys, Scissor Sisters.
