What the label says:

There are loads of rock bands making music for the dance floor. Digitalism make electronic music that everyone can rock to. They are part of a new breed of producers leading the renaissance in electronic music which is reinvigorating and uniting the Indie and Dance scenes. Impressive debut album ‘Idealism’ proved a massive hit with press heavyweights…

NME 8/10
“Dance and rock in glorious union” 4* / Q Magazine
“A brilliant soundtrack for your next disco-house party” 4* / Time Out
“Ruthlessly energetic electronic rock 4* / The Sun
“As infectious as sars, and scientifically proven to make every lazybones twitchingly delirious” Guardian Guide

Digitalism have risen to prominence on the strength of some high profile remixes (Klaxons, The Test Icicles, Cut Copy and The Futureheads) and lets not forget their own dance floor destroying singles including Zdarlight, which is played out by DJs worldwide today, as much as it was 2 years ago when first released.

And so they return with single 'Idealistic' and with it near perfect remix package, including fresh re-brands from Who Made Who, A-Track and current favourites Hystero. The B-Side will feature stand out album track, 'Digitalism In Cairo' where they dismember the Cure's "Fire in Cairo" into a dizzying bass-heavy club banger and which, due to popular demand,  is currently being promo-ed in Ibiza, and will no doubt bring the house down when they do their IBIZA ROCK's show with Babyshambles at the end of August. And all this is in preparation for eagerly anticipated vocal mix of club classic Zdarlight - due to drop later in the year and guaranteed to catapult Digitalism to commercial success.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
