They Came From The Stars have always appealed to me if nothing else because of their name. It's ace and to use their full moniker it's actually 'They Came From The Stars, I Saw Them'. Genius! They make some quirky racket with all kinds of instruments and arrangements. It's essentially all very clever sounding yet still very listenable and dare I say it... poppy... It's pretty hard to sum up what they sound like as they're a band you've just got to hear and make your own mind up with but I reckon if you like the wackiness of the Animal Collective and their crazy goings on you'll more than likely be interested in this too! The Unstoppable Kite EP is 12" only folks!
