Mixtapes & Cellmates are finally here with their long awaited debut album!Their 2 previous EP releases have given them a name all over Europe and the word keeps spreading. Their debutalbum was recorded in the northern outbacks at David Sandström´s house. Oskar Sandlund (Producer) made it all come together beautifully. Mixtapes shined. David made dinner and coffee. The result is a diverse, compelling & an absolutely beautiful album. The Cure, My bloody valentine, Craig David.....Ok?! However, influences may show but in the end Mixtapes have made something that is So rare today. An album that is personal, untouched by trendsensitive knowitalls and just filled with melodies, gorgeous passages and hooks. Stunning.
