Comaneci with Volcano is a gentle female fronted Italy 3 piece that use a variety of instruments to create this album on Disasters By Choice. I really dig the crazy cello on show with the bow and the slow drone flow all faced so po its quite a memento... need water water let me get some eau... slightly awkward and slow in its delivery its a moody and at times beautiful and enthralling .. its kicks off big time at one point but i wont spoil it for you.... A really good orchestral feel to it. (like Early Cat power says phil ). Breathy female vocals steal the show.....At the 1976 Olympics a young girl made history. With cat-like grace and a framework like a butterfly, she enchanted the public, floating between the parallels, becoming the first gymnast ever to score a perfect 10. In 2003 a three piece outfit from Ravenna, Italy chose the last name of Nadia Comaneci for their minute but strong music project. An ethereal and visceral voice. An emotional trio, secretive but surprisingly explosive. Comaneci makes quiet but evocative music. They know how to make noise without pumping up the volume. Their acoustic chamber-pop is intimate, soothing and involving. Francesca Amati

Wonderful album. Great melodies, great lyrics, fantastic voice. Quite an 'intimate' little pearl. I highly recommend it. And also their other album, by the way. Fantastic liveband also. :-)
