The Rumble Strips - Girls & Weather

Girls & Weather by The Rumble Strips

“The band most likely to do a Kooks/Fratellis in 2007 by becoming the good-time-indie-rock outfit most people prefer to get drunk and act lairy to” - Q
"When the Day-Glo dust settles, they’ll be standing on top of the pile" - NME
“The most joyful band we’ve heard all year” – Elle
“"This will be their year." - Music Week
"This is music to blow your wig off" - The Times
“Fantastic, impassioned brass riffs” – The Sun

What a year The Rumble Strips have had. From being tipped by all and sundry as one of the most exciting new bands of 2007 the group have stepped up and delivered. From their explosive shows at SXSW (culminating in Charlie’s arrest and jumping bail), to their triumphant headlining of the NME ‘New Band Tour’ in May, to their packed Glastonbury set that had the entire John Peel tent singing as one - the band head into the festival season with an arsenal of songs set to become the soundtrack of the summer.

With single Girls And Boys in Love the lead track from the forthcomind David Schwimmer film, Run Fat Boy Run, starring Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran it looks like it could be The Rumble Strips' summer
