What we say
Here's some copies of a Dan Deacon European tour 7" on Car Park. 'The Crystal Cat' is it's name and it has the best press release I've ever read. Read it on the site! It starts off sounding like Stereolab with some moogy style motorik kraut chuggy thing and then goes all bonkers to the point where it makes me laugh. Anything that makes me laugh is a good thing. I never laugh these days. There's nothing funny on telly and I'm surrounded by a load of unfunny people who don't make me laugh at all. I only make myself laugh and that's taboo apparently. The vocals on both sides of this are ludicrous and (without becoming repetitive) both sides made me laugh. This is a very cool 7" indeed and you need it in your life. What the label says:crystal cat / totally boner eat shit is this awesome single where like the house is completely smashed and you are like “oh man this totally sucks” because you know, just know that health and safety are going to come tomorrow and you’ve already failed room inspection twice and you are still on residence probation for another two semesters. so you have to clean this place up like nobody’s business and you listen to crystal cat / totally boner eat shit and it’s a big fuck you to the people who want to catch you dirty when your house is the cleanest on the block it’s so awesome. |
