Daniel Patrick Quinn - West To The Irish Sea

West To The Irish Sea by Daniel Patrick Quinn

"Holger Czukay's head transplanted onto your old geography teacher's body - or maybe the other way around", according to Channel 4's 4Talent. Daniel describes his own music as, "a ramshackle combination of strings, shabby percussion, old synths, guitar gases, occasional vocals/narratives, East Lothian Air, trumpet blast-drones and minimalism." West To The Irish Sea contains some of his best music from the last three years, pressed for the first time onto vinyl, including the ordinance survey road-song, "Northern", and stomping boisterous folk-tale, "The Burryman".
