Pilote - Two Chord Wonder EP

Stuart Cullen aka Pilote with a brand new EP including one amazing track written and recorded during his short stay in a very small villa outside of Barcelona. ‘Camerera’ is the original ‘Two Chord Wonder’, the closest he has ever come to finding that perfect mix of beauty and funk.This was his peronal favourite track from his latest ‘Pop Will Make Us Free’ CD, but he couldn't find a way to make it fit into the overall scheme of the album. It is also one of the first tracks he ever wrote in Spain. ‘Two Chord Wonder’ itself is one of the most accessible Pilote tracks ever, almost house, and just a simple pop track with no messing or gimmicks. ‘Kratez(sic)’ was originally a digital download only, and is something of this EPs epic track. All about the rhythm, Pilote made the drum sounds by hitting tea crates (hence the title!). There’s more than two chords, but simplicity neatly fits in with the aesthetic of the preceeding two tracks.
