Originally released last year, St Louis’ debut release has sold out its first pressing and is being re-issued to coincide with the release of their eagerly awaited debut album out on September 24th. Despite comparisons as far afield as Pavement, The Wedding Present and Shellac, their closest and most frequently cited ally has so far been This Ain’t Vegas. They have a tendency to veer from twinkling fragility to straight-up indie rock to bone snapping hardcore at a seconds notice. With 40 upcoming dates between now and the end of the year including a tour with Hell is For Heroes, if you don’t know about St Louis yet, you soon will.
