I always think that Interpol's first album should be re-issued with that Editors "Munich" song on it - it would fit in so well. Anyway here are Editors - Phil actually thought I was playing the B side of the Interpol single. This one is called "An End has a Start". If Interpol are Ainsley's, Editors are Greggs and I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't know what a Danish pastry was either. Anyway shameless copyism - a pale facsimile but if you really can't get enough Interpol and you re not bothered about the drop in quality this single is kind of ok if you heard Jo Whiley playing it while you were in a motorway snarl up. What the label says: An End Has A Start Ltd & numbered, 2 trk 7" clear vinyl. Ltd 2 trk Cd, both include "Open Up". Maxi Cd with inner card wallet has x3 remixes.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
