I'm going to start coming to work wearing a big black cloak after listening to all this doomy gear.... Oooooh look it's something on Aurora Borealis by The Stargazers Assistant who are David J Smith ( Guapo and Miasma & The Carousel Of Dead Horses), Daniel O'Sullivan (Miasma, Guapo, Mothlite, Elsa Drake) and audio engineer Antti Uusumaki. Apparently 'The Other Side Of The Island' is the soundtrack to some sculptural works. One of which is on the front cover and I must say it's a thing of beauty. I must have used the word drone about 10 times this week so once more wont hurt. DRONE. Lots of tinkling bell sounds and a slightly evil ritualistic vibe. Good stuff.The Stargazer’s Assistant is David J Smith of Guapo and Miasma & The Carousel Of Dead Horses, in collaboration with Daniel O’Sullivan (Miasma, Guapo, Mothlite, Elsa Drake) and audio engineer Antti Uusumaki.
The Other Side Of The Island is the soundtrack to David J Smith’s sculptural works collected under the same name.
Very limited gallery edition CD available in a cloth printed bag encased in a lead slip-case, hand-made by the artist.
