What the label says:

Super limited US only single, will probably only get one chance to get copies of this. Comanechi from London consists of a girl singer-drummer and a boy guitarist and the two of them make quite the racket together. This is their 4th 7" single limited to 500 copies on blue colored vinyl Hailing from London, England, this “Japanglish” duo reinforce the importance of preserving the endangered species that is singing drummers. Akiko may look sweet with her J-pop chic look, but she’s one rapturous, Babes in Toyland-like banshee that screams her cords till they’re bloody. Along for the ride is her guitarist Simon, who does a fine job in bringing the noise to match her drum kit assault. He ups the intensity by grinding away at scuzzy Ramones riffs through a devastating SUNN amp that is certain to find these guys kick-starting some kind of melodic noise rock movement. Either that, or they’ll just be appreciated for making such a blissfully discordant rumpus — but we all know these things end by spawning some sort of media blitz.

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
