It's always a pleasure to get some Dirty Demos CD's in my review pile. For me they embrace everything I love about DIY culture. The music is always forward thinking, the packaging always looks great and they always have that special handmade touch. You can just tell it's done with passion and a genuine love. You may remember the 'Observation Point' CD compilation from a wee while ago. Well 'Observation Point Volume 2' has landed and it's a smashing selection of drone, ambient, noise glitch, abstract electronics and skewd folk etc. from the likes of Bjerga / Iversen, Patten, Matthew, Littleboat, Claudia Fonti, Moize, (Etre) & Luigi Rubino, Mercury Effect, Blackpepper, Textured Bird Transmission, Now, Pelican Island, Dead Wood, Pinkeye, Red Needled Sea and Loisl.
