Triclops - Too Many Humans

San Francisco quartet TRICLOPS! began in 2005 when former members of VICTIMS FAMILY, BOTTLES AND SKULLS and LOWER FORTY-EIGHT joined forces with FLESHIES (Alternative Tentacles) vocalist John Geek. Combining the discordant velocity of DRIVE LIKE JEHU with the vocal mania of THE JESUS LIZARD and the dense psychedelia of THE MARS VOLTA, TRICLOPS! immediately became a local favorite and their energetic shows began attracting press attention virtually overnight. They released a debut EP on Chicago’s SickRoom Records in early 2007 and subsequently toured the western U.S. with David Yow’s (THE JESUS LIZARD) new vehicle, QUI, and 400 BLOWS. Upon returning to California, they recorded the two songs included on this 7” with MELVINS engineer, Kurt Schlagel. Picture disc art is provided by GSL’s own Sonny Kay.
