Eugene McGuinness is a solo musician from Ireland who now lives in London. Before even having any plans of a release, Eugene was receiving regular support on Radio 1 from fans Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq, even securing a Maida Vale session for Huw Stephens back in May. First release from Eugene was the fantastically catchy pop tune ‘Monsters Under The Bed’ which has been picking up a lot of support from radio. The superb animated video for the single was recently picked by YouTube to be the top featured video on the front page of YouTube.com, getting it over 180,000 views in just one weekend and getting Eugene thousands of new fans.
