You know the score, down tempo grooves, lullaby singing tones, sixties style musical instrumentation. Nostalgic pop moments.Having toured the US and Canada together a couple of years ago, Monade (Laetitia Sadler from Stereolab) and The Zincs (Thrill Jockey recording artists) fulfilled their promise of collaborating on a 7” by recording two songs from the Kevin Ayers back catalogue. The Zincs currently have a new album out via Thrill Jockey and Monade will release a new album, ‘Monstre Cosmic’, through Too Pure / Beggars Banquet later this year.
