Power driven 3 minute poprocksoul gems are certainly the order of the day for these boys. ·The band’s debut single ‘Hibernation’ was Rough Trade ‘Single Of The Week’ on its release last year describing it as “driving 60's style pop songs that sound like a mix of lo-fi Supergrass, the Velvets and an uptempo Clinic with a singer that has the same vocal drawl as Jonathan Richman”. ·‘Cat Missing’, the tale of a heroin addicted brother stands toe to toe and holds its own with a rockabilly-ish swagger not seen since the days of The Gun Club. ·The band have been busy recording their debut album ‘Self Prescribed Medication’ which is due for release in the summer. |
