Just in from Germany is a split 7" by The Lodger and Velour. This is part of the Noisedeluxe singles club. Lodger make a good indie racket... perfect pop in fact. Their track 'Watching' is on the album so there's nothing exclusive by 'em on it. But it's way of getting the track on vinyl and it's great indie pop music. I've got a total soft spot for these folks and excitingly enough I like it I do. Ant still says The Lightning Seeds.....The flipside is by Velour who are a new band to me. Their track 'Stereogirl' is more perfect indie pop along the line of The Wannadies etc...VELOUR/LODGER SPLIT 7"
Noisedeluxe Records startet off the Noisedeluxe Singles Club. Three or four times a year we will rease a really fancy split 7". Starting off with Veour and their "stereogirl" and The Lodger with "the watching" Each 7" will limited to 500 copies. Handnumbered!
