Brazilian four-piece Wry release their debut UK EP Whales & Sharks on four track CD and two track ltd 7". Probably best known by London gig-goers as the posse behind Wednesday club Goonite at the Buffalo Bar - back in their homeland of Brazil, Monstro Records have released three albums over five years and they have toured Brazil with the likes of Man Or Astroman?, Superchunk, Mudhoney and Make Up, gaining airplay for their videos on MTV Brazil. Now splitting their efforts between London and Sao Paulo, they have recently toured with The Subways and played with The Rakes, The Morning After Girls, The Cribs and Air Formation. 'Whales And Sharks' features four brand new shiny pop songs covered in layers of white noise. An irresistably gutsy racket to hold close to your heart!
